Personal

So a little about me. I was born to William and Roseanne McManus, with brother Matthew McManus, and raised in Stamford, CT. Growing up, my life revolved around 2 things: school and sports. Being a hockey player pretty much since I could walk, I have always taken interest in all things hockey. As I came closer to high school, that love for sports had slowly starting shifting towards a love for music (probably because I was better at it). In school, along with my regular studies, I started to take up saxaphone, as well as guitar and percussion. This seemed to be the right move considering when it came time to go to college, I had more of an interest in searching for bands to play in rather than sports, although during my college career I rowed for the Ithaca College Crew team, which was an amazing and unforgetable experience.

Since music has truely become my passion, I plan to move to New York City with the current band that I am in, The Danbees (named after Danby Rd. in Ithaca). Our music is free and can be checked out at www.thedanbees.com. Farther down the road, I look to settle down in the city and focus on a career path that involves environmental work of some sort, at this point I can't be too picky. Below are some pictures of my life in a nutshell. Enjoy.
